As you can all appreciate the current situation is an unknown for us all and all events and businesses alike are having to adapt to the difficult and uncertain circumstances. Following discussions within the Brutal team we have decided on a plan of action which we outline below. Our key aim is to remain as flexible as possible in both the ability to put on events and with you our Brutaleers.
If you have entered either Eelmoor or Pyestock you can ‘defer’ your entry and receive a code for the full value you paid to use to enter another event in 2020 or to re-enter the rearranged one. Please follow the instructions in your confirmation email or on our FAQs. This timescale may be extended into 2021 should the restrictions remain in place beyond September. We will ensure you have at least 3 different races to choose from for this. The code you are issued can be used either by yourself or somebody else and please keep hold of it until we have a confirmed event you wish to run in. If you purchased a T-Shirt for one of these events this can be posted out to you for a cost of £2 or you can wait until the next event.
Medals - We already have these for Eelmoor but will not be ordering anymore until things become more stable. Not only do they cost a lot of money, we also don’t want them to go to waste for environmental reasons. Should we run an event where we do not have enough notice to source medals we shall issue all entrants with a discount code for £3 towards another event.
T-Shirts - Whilst we are not running events if you would still like to get hold of some Brutal merchandise then you can email Colin on firstname.lastname@example.org to let him know what you want. Costs of T-Shirts/Vests are £12 plus £2 p&p and we shall put some more information about these on the webpage when time allows.
Brutal Training - Until further notice these will not be running as we observe the social distancing recommendations. We are considering making some routes available to you in the meantime for you to run alone.
Golden Ticket Holders - You will receive an email to your registered address explaining our plans for you.
We shall continue to keep in touch with a few videos on Facebook as per normal and send emails when appropriate. I’m sure you will all be following the news and will likely be aware of when events can happen again. Keep your eyes open for when this time comes around as we hope to act fast! If you have any questions please get in touch via the website or Facebook.
Lastly we would like to thank you all for your patience with ourselves, and no doubt many others in the industry, whilst we work through and adapt to the situation. As you all evolve in your daily lives we shall also do so as the situation dictates. In the meantime we hope you can all find ways to stay fit, healthy and muddy but we urge you to follow government advice whilst doing so.
